We had a guest last week. I worked with Joyce in the 70's and my first apartment was upstairs from hers in a tenement in Pawtucket, garden spot of RI....joke. So, she's lived in Maine for 20 years and was down for a visit. She is a fellow picture taking fan. No, digital for her....she is a purist. She's right but using film is too costly for me. Anyway, we went for a photo-taking drive. There's an old cemetery in Little Compton RI. These graves amuse me. The first one says, here lies Elizabeth who should have been the wife of Simeone Palmer. The second says, here lies Lidia Palmer, wife of Simeone Palmer. They are side by side.
