Pandora Wins

Based on a post recently about Pachelbel's Canon, I thought I would create a new Pandora Station by the same name to see what the Genomes would come up with. I anticipated many selections with repetive melodies....alas was I surprised. What I got was:

New age roots
unsyncopated ensemble rhythms
straight drum beats
use of tonal harmonies.

Hah! I knew it. Set this station up, you will not be disappointed and you get the Canon everyonce in a while. Bonus!

Also, take a listen to The Section Quartet.... I am so Baroque New Age

thanks Genomes

Frank - in your impassioned hurry to thank the genomes, don't mistakenly hug a garden gnome instead. Two entirely different things...

Frank - I tried this - using the first version of the Canon that came up...and I think I got a different station. Mine reads....
"features new age aesthetics, an overall meditative sound, a prominent rhythm piano part, acoustic sonority and a twelve-eight time signature."

Any idea whose version of the Canon you built your station on?
