Dinosaurs? Waves? Clouds?

 

Amazing clouds over Birmingham, Alabama recently.  These are known as Kelvin-Helmholtz waves.  For a cool video and further explanation you can check out this site.

WOW! Really incredibly. I was slightly disappointed to realize you weren't actually in Birmingham to take the pic :(

You know Kelley - I would have LOVED to have been there to witness these clouds! So I'm kinda disappointed too. But the internet is the next best thing to being there, right? I've never heard of these type clouds before...amazing!
